WINTER SOLSTICE OPEN ACCESS
We are able to confirm that
at last month’s 'Roundtable Group' meeting and again this month, the date of the access to Stonehenge for people wishing to celebrate the Winter Solstice was discussed and agreed that it should
take place at DAWN on
Tuesday 22nd December.
The access will commence at 7.30 – 7.40am and only when it is considered sufficiently light to ensure safe access.
Visitors will be asked to vacate the site by 9.00am.
